故事背景在现代话说于每一个世代都会出现一个年青的女孩子在人世间寻找及对付一些妖魔鬼怪例如有吸血鬼坏女巫等等邪恶的势力而这个年青的女孩子则被称为Slayer亦即是本剧中的女主角Buffy故事的开始是因 Buffy在LA的学校中捉拿吸血鬼的时候把整个体育馆弄倒了故被学校踼了出来之后她的母亲Joyce与她搬到加州名叫Sunnydale的一个地方生活但原来这一切也是命运的安排
该剧以校园暴力为主题讲述因校园暴力而站在生死边缘的儿子以及家人以儿子的名义寻找真相的故事即便是在这个充斥着虚假隐匿背叛曝光的自私的世界中大家依然能够互相舔舐伤口一同寻找对美丽的世界的希望
